TU Darmstadt's synagogue exhibition to tour the USA
Launch scheduled for 29 August at the Holocaust Memorial Center in Farmington Hills, MI. The TU Darmstadt and Institut für Auslandsbeziehungen’s "Synagogues in Germany - A Virtual Reconstruction" exhibition may be viewed in the USA commencing in late August.

One-of-a-Kind Course Takes Students Outside Their Comfort Zone
Rev. Gregory Boyle, S.J. , who founded Homeboy Industries, the largest gang-intervention and re-entry program in the nation, was the inspiration behind the University’s “Gangs and Urban Health in LA” course. Scranton students toured Homeboy’s Los Angeles facilities, learning about the program’s numerous educational programs and meeting with current employees – all former gang members. The nursing students conducted a small health fair during the visit.

New UCF, USF Program to Help Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Children
“It really is a wonderful blessing,” said Rosa-Lugo, an associate professor in the University of Central Florida’s Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. “This grant will give us the chance to train students to partner with families and their children to develop foundational listening, speech, spoken language and early literacy skills in children with all levels of hearing loss.”
